Bladee partners with Marc Jacobs

It’s looking like a good year for Benjamin Reichwald, a rapper who performs as Bladee and has an astounding following.
Bladee and fellow Drain Gang member Ecco2K released Crest in March, a soft, yet upbeat, feel-good record.
Despite rave reviews in Pitchfork and sold-out shows in Europe and the US, this multidisciplinary Swede isn’t limited to music alone. Today, Marc Jacobs’ Heaven by Marc Jacobs releases, promising a touch of heaven.
In addition to designing merch for Y2001, Bladee does modeling work, including a 2021 gig for Heaven.
The ethos of the brand is full-on teenage bedroom, with all the associations of personalization and fandom that go with it.
There is no designated place called Heaven, but it would feel a lot like a private, unifying space for one to meet people that understands one’s needs, if not one’s identity.
The campaign, which features fellow musicians Baby Sosa and Oklou, was shot by Bladee and his photographer friend Hendrik Schneider.
Because the shoot took place in Los Angeles, Reichwald cast surfer West Adler as his doppelganger.
We can’t wait for this partnership to produce exciting results!
